Welcome to How to Thank a Vet
(Please click the " READ MORE " button below for the full post and access to links.)
Notice: If you are not sure of your eternity with Jesus Christ, please take a few minutes first to check out “God’s Bridge to Eternal Life” before proceeding. This is the most important information on this Blogspot.
It will take some time and dollars, both of which will be well spent. We call it a “Thank You Pack”, which will include: a Thank You envelope, a Thank You card, “The Bridge to Eternal Life” gospel tract, and The Gospel of John.
1.
CLICK HERE for the PDF of the Envelope and Thank You card, for printing locally, or on your own printer.
2.
Email to request the Bridge tract info@majestic-media.com
3.
Email to request the Gospel of John: livingwater@livingwater.org
4.
Receive products, fold and sign the card (suggest having a printer pre-crimp cards), tract (suggest church info. on it), and Gospel of John, assemble and distribute to Veterans. A handshake and an eye-to-eye “Thank You” will go a long way.
- THERE ARE: Over 16 million Veterans and active military in the United States.
- THERE ARE: Only around 60 thousand World War II Veterans, of the 16.4 million that served, that are still alive. (as of 2024)
- THERE ARE: Military personnel of the United States in approximately 178 countries.
- THERE ARE: Veterans at fairs, parades, celebrations, “Honor Flight” mail calls, and almost any place you can go.
- THERE ARE: Vietnam Veterans like Eddie R. Beesley, who gives this account in his book, “Lucky Enough”: “I remember them loading us onto a bus. Lots of other guys on stretchers like me. The route from Travis to Oak Knoll military hospital in Oakland was known as “The Gauntlet”. War protesters placed themselves strategically along the way and threw plastic bags filled with urine, human waste wrapped in tissue paper, rocks and bottles and anything else they could get their hands on-yelling obscenities, calling us “Baby Killers”. Welcome home. Only in America do people have that kind of freedom.”
